Bootiful It's done well with all the strong winds we've had across the country, Quite a few gardeners on youtube who have been growing these for the 'biggest sunflower challenge' have had theirs snapped in the windy weather.
I grow the dwarf variety in big pots & some of those were blown over in the winds and damaged.

Morning all - it can't decide what to do today - one minute the sun's out, and the next minute it's hammering it down - I doubt whether I'll get the lawns cut today.

I've got three 5 foot canes, held together with cable ties - I could find any single ones that were long enough.
It must just be in my mind ('cos there's plenty of space) - but this Summer seems to have been a cracker for plants, fruits, flowers, grass - all to grow like crazy

Morning everyone.

Nice day here. Warm, dry and pretty sunny.

I'll have to get a good walk in with Quizzie as tomorrow looks like being a whole different story .

Andy.

Afternoon all. It's been sunny & hot most of the day here, Got all my gardening chores done today whilst it's dry, weather looked like lots of rain tomorrow Lots of my plants/veggies started off really weird this year, The weather was either red hot or torrential rain/high winds and a lot of my veggies bolted i.e. went straight to seed, Yet others have done fantastically well as you say, I filled a bucket full of ripe Roma plum tomatoes this morning from the tomato plants in the greenhouse & made batches of pasta sauce with home grown, onions, garlic, bell peppers & celery, The freezer is full.

Cool

Evening everyone.

Not the best of days weather wise. Sun, rain, more rain, sun and more rain.

Managed to get some new plants into the garden in between the showers.

Roast beef, new pots and sprouts for dinner.

Evening all, been a nice day here today, walked the dogs after work, watched a guy on a paraglider flying over the fields, he had only just landed when an Apache gunship appeared on some training exercises, a few mins earlier and he would have had quite a shock.

Francis has arrived in the early hours. Wind with torrential rain. But it is easing a bit now.

And Good Morning Everyone.
