Hey Nice one Rev Have you swapped yer Laderhosen keks for a kilt? We have blue skies & sunshine but with a strong north easterly wind that will blow yer wig off.

My late uncle David was a professional photographer with his own shop and studio in Dumfries. We've been struggling to find a home for the vast collection of negatives he had, mainly views etc around the area. Thankfully the heritage section of the local library has agreed to accept them and call it the David Hope Collection.

Done gardening, weeding the front. My wrists are aching on my hands and knees pulling weeds. Coffee and paracetamol!

On the various train sim posts, it's been a while since I've done any of that. It was Trainz Simulator 2 I had. One of the last times I played it, I took a class 37 up to 136mph! I don't doubt that the real thing can exceed the '80mph max' printed in the cab, but my how much I wonder? The other game I had was an old 'build your own railway' type game, 'old' meaning it came on a DVD and ran best with Windows XP. I still have it on my 13-year-old laptop and go back to it every now and again. The only thing with these games for me is that I find them fun for a little while, but as with books about trains I would much rather go out and experience it myself (although that's of course quite hard to do with a long-gone steam yard!). Hope you've all been enjoying your weekend |

Morning everyone
It’s our Jubilee street party today. And it’s not raining, and no sunshine either. Banana done good in yesterday’s Jubilee parade in Newquay. The fan only cut in twice. It’s not easy following a vintage tractor at 5mph.

I don't think we could have wished for better weather here in Aberdeenshire, it is five days on the trot with clear Skye’s and really hot sun, checked out our home town Nottingham and it is chucking it down with rain and blower.
