No, but at long last sorted the problem of my 2 stroke strimmer constantly oiling up plugs and being a real pain.........

I went out and got a Honda Brushcutter, with a 4 stroke engine.

2 stroke oil to diesel engines us very common especially on non common rail engines as you have said modern oil has no lubrication properties. Have heard mega millage on standard fuel pumps when used regularly. Not sure but I expect the common rail engines that do suffer with pump failure would benefit from 2 stroke. I don't think the bmw lump suffers except the ubp.

Two stroke oil used incorrectly in these cars results in injector glazing, and is not recommended.

As Mike says, diesel is what the car is designed to run on, not a two stroke oil mix......better suited to your Arthur Francis Vespa

Brian
As happened to my last 75 after using 2 stroke, when Brian came to do the 160 remap, the injector. balance was all over the place. After a few months without it and just using injector cleaner, the readings returned to normal.

Same here. I just put a measure of Redex in a full tank every other fill up.
