THE ROVER SPORTS REGISTRY,CUMBRIAN ROVER RALLY DALEMAIN HOUSE Nr PENRITH 3rd JULY.
Please be aware, this is not an official 75andZT Club Meet,& as such is not covered by the Clubs Public Liability Insurance, also the Club take no responsibility in any way.[/color][/size][/font]
I have been informed today from PaulG of the ROVER SPORTS REGISTRY of their intention to hold their annual Cumbrian Rover Rally over the weekend 1st-3rd July. As in previous years, members from this club have been invited to attend, either the full weekend,[details of which can made with PaulG]or,again as with previous years those of us who have attended have joined in on the Sunday event, usually at a very interesting venue. This year,The RSR have chosen DALEMAIN HOUSE Nr Penrith, just off the A66 Junction of the M6 this is the link, for those interested;www.dalemain.com for the Sunday venue.Dalemain have held numerous classic/vintage car events over the years,a very popular venue indeed with car clubs. I therefore take great pleasure in inviting members from this club to place their names on the list,if interested in joining in with this very informal, but nevertheless very interesting meet whereby we can meet up with some great guys with some fantastically restored Rovers from yesteryear The RSR,has been going since 1953,we will be meeting up with some very friendly Guys an Gals, with some fantastic motors from both clubs in attendance in a very historic and superb setting, with outstanding views of the Cumbrian Fells. Paul has also advised me,if there are 12 or more vehicles there are discounted prices ie;£7.00 for entry to House & Gardens,or £5.50 entry to Gardens, there is also a very nice cafe,so c'mon Guys put your names down for a great meet,I would deem it a great honour if we could get a good turnout from our region, although not restricted to this as all members of our club are most welcome, many thanks in anticipation,& will start the ball rolling. Meeting up at Dalemain House 11.00-11.30am Sunday 3rd July. 1. Bluejon & Jan. [John & Jan] 2. bobgrice. [bob] 3. Suzublu. [Ronnie] 4. Freebyrd. [Brian] 5. Stocktake [Dave & Marina] 6. RPWC [Rich] 7. MASTIFF2 [Brian]

Hi John,
I would have quite fancied this, however I am unfortunately flying out on holiday that day so cannot make it. Hopefully see you at Gretna though. New thread coming very soon. Derek
