The voices did speak and were heard. That is what a democracy is about. Fortunately or unfortunately, you cannot have it both ways.

Just as an aside, I have no feelings either way on the subject.

If you're on the drivetrain assembly line in Ellesmere Port I suspect you don't care as long as you have a job

To be honest the 'British Car Company' jobs are long long gone, you can bemoan that if you want but there are a lot of cars still made in Britain and lots of British suppliers to those companies. I would suggest that if you buy one of them (even if it's 'Japanese') you are in some small way supporting the good people who are employed building them in Britain. We are in a global economy whether or not you like it and we are in 2018 so moaning about the demise of Rover or BL is pretty pointless now

What, Nothing in Scotland!

Yeah, Peugeot (PSA Group) were smart buying Vauxhall. Although I do hear they are reducing the range not to compete with what the French make, But good way to make French cars in the UK, encase of import taxes ect.. But If I was a betting man I would bet on them phasing out Vauxhall altogether. (The Vivaro being the same as the Renault Traffic, be a good way to hurt the old enemy Renault!)

Viva la revolución!

Ah well, there's the rub - you vote for rebellion and accidentally empower the very people you wanted to get rid of

Sadly I lost the first vote ( Scotland independence - Get rid of Westmoster, which I hate with a burning passion) But kinda won the EU one ( I am a remoaner, but to be fair, I and most of Scotland voted for it).

So I have nothing left to do than think about cars!

So bought a BMW 330CI, and that has made be happy. I just had to accept the MG ZTT 190 would never be fast enough and FWD is boring. Shame the V8 ZTT is more than I want to pay, As they are pretty estates, and fast enough!!
