Cheers for that heads up, after a quick play with that program I think I'll have the ecu decoded in about 50 years or so give or take! Looks like a hard thing for a novice to get into.

Funnily enough I was reading that link before you posted it on here. Its identifying the different parts of the engine map that seems difficult and I can't see an easy way of identifying ecu options and different configurations. Its possible but a lot of hard work, I can now see why you pay a lot of money for a custom map!

I'm also interseted in upgrading my cdt to cdti auto saloon. If this KWP2000 ECU Flasher works as well as said. Could we store or exchand the files online for others to use. Or would this be illegal?

Considering you'd be doing XPart out of £199 plus VAT, I think it might be

If anyone is brave enough, I reckon I could re-write the ZCS codes to accomodate the 131 map. This is my botch it idea lol. Upload an ECU map from a 131 to the 116 and then alter the ZCS codes to match. The VIN code is the only stopping point but I have an idea

However, we are trying to compile a database of vins and unlock codes of people who have had the xpart upgrade for research. So either send on to me or Bigruss, if anyone has them and doesnt mind (everything is kept confidential)
