Smile MG3 On Order

Just been down to test drive the MG3 and liked it so much that ive configured a 3Style Newton Black. Paint quality was spot on and gap/panel alignment looks good. Great spec for money. Cant wait for it to arrive.

Excellent!

The other chap on here who bought one seems to be enjoying his '3'.

You'll have to keep us informed of your opinions & life with it.

They really do seem like a bargain, hope MG sells zillions of them.

Oh, how long will you have to wait for delivery?

Nice one, I have a 3 style in Newton black with Sebring stripe as above, When's the delivery expected? There is some recent pics of mine in the photography section of the forum.

Ive ordered it in black with union jack on the roof, white door mirrors, white stripe on bonnet. It should draw some attention on the road which can only be a good thing for Mg. Ive selected the piano black finishing trim inside with red surround rings. The spec is great for the money- cruise, auto headlights ,auto wipers, bluetooth dab radio too name just a few of the features. There quoting six weeks at moment. A great spec for the money

Glad your enjoying it. Ive ordered it direct from Longbridge and they will service the car as well. I'll keep you informed on how I get on with it when it arrives. Looks like the 75 might be sitting on the drive for a while. Like your configuration too. The red looks good with the black.

I look forward to photos of your design, sounds great, I have the piano black and red interior pack as well. Have you ordered leather seats? I have heard there are delays on leather from people on .org. Bet you can't wait!

The car I test drove had leather in and it looked good. I decided to stick with the standard seats as they looked perfectly acceptable and kept the price down a bit. The alloys on the 3style look the business and the MG symbol infront of the headlamp bulb looks a nice touch. Have you tried the bluetooth streaming function from your mobile yet.

I love the wheels and the headlight badges. The non leather seats are just as good. Yes the Bluetooth is a great piece of kit. It downloads your phonebook and you can scroll through it on the radio screen. I have made and received a few calls on it. I have used the Bluetooth music stream once, but otherwise I use my iPod plugged into the usb, when not listening to 5live dab

I wasn't expecting an lcd display for outside air temp and trip computer with mpg etc. They should push this more on the brochure as its a good selling feature which is not fully advertised. Its unusual to get tyre pressure monitoring as standard as well. Have you felt the hill assist control ,corner brake control, traction control or electronic stability control working yet? I understand it has a brake wiping system as well to ensure the brakes are in optimal working condition in the wet.
