Default ZT 180 Engine Compared to 190

I was just having a look at my ZT 180 and took the engine cover off and realised there seemed a huge difference to the 190 I have. I assume correct but I am not that technical...

180

190

The difference is the ignition coils . The 180 is presumably the later one with plug-top coils

The 180 is a 2005, the 190 2001. 180 seems a lot nicer engine to look at anyway, which is about my level of expertise.

The throttle body and associated breather pipes also changed on later models. This picture is a 2005 190.

Also the arrangement of breather pipes on the Inlet changed, this even differs from a 180 of the same era.

What's that going into the air filter box? I can't quite see where it leads to.

It seems to lead up and connects at the top of the Inlet, looks like some kind of vacuum actuator?..Again something that is not included on the 190 breather system.

Isn't that a picture of the ZT engine?? The air filter box kind of fits down longways on the ZS.

I totally misread the first post! Thought it was from a ZS 180... duh

But questions still remains... what is it!?

Heres my old 2001 160 V6 with coils and leads-

And heres my 2003 190 V6 with no leads-

The good thing with the later engine if you have a fault code for a coil, you can swap coils front to back.
