Do you know, although I’ve been an avid F1 fan for most of my life, I don’t think I can be bothered this year.

Might change my mind as time passes, but maybe not.

Felt the same for the last few year's. I end up recording them and fast forward most of the race.....

Apart from time spent away at sea i've followed fairly religiously from the early 70's and although i miss Murray's commentary i still get a rush (no pun intended) at the beginning of every season no matter who is the dominant team/driver

I used to admire that over pretentious twit Hamilton, cocky little NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-, if the other drivers have got any sense they would run him off the track.

To be honest, F1 hasn't really been the same for me since the Senna/ Prost/ Mansell/ Piquet era when men were men, cars were cars, tracks were tracks, and the commentators were Murray Walker and James Hunt...

Just look at Senna's 1989 pole lap at Suzuka in the mighty McLaren-Honda V10. His lightning-fast gear-changes and the perfection of his rev-matching while down-changing, simultaneously blipping the throttle and braking, is something else. Today's F1 just doesn't get the pulse racing in the same way:
