PK54 HLG back-end in need of TLC
Courtesy of previous owner a long time ago my car is a Cat D. The back end is a bit of a dog's breakfast. A fellow forum member viewed the car before my purchasing from Chiltern Cars and "got the heck out".
Boot lid is slightly askew, bumper sits proud of the wing panel, small patches of rust showing and the (Tempest/X-Power Grey?) paintwork looks as though it has been blended-in with a Hoover. Generally it doesn't bother me overmuch, I'm a little bit casual regarding bodywork and as a Cat D it's not going to affect the value. However, I'm wondering whether to have the car spruced-up overall. Can anyone recommend a bodyshop (preferably in Sussex but could travel) who understands what to do and not leave me disappointed? Some pictures attached, they don't do justice to the overall impression in the flesh. |
