LHD V8 in Catalunya
Here's a LHD so called 'pre-series' V8 in Catalunya, Spain. the advert says that it has some 'small problems' because it's a pre-series car.
What's that about then? They made and sold it with faults on purpose, or should the translation be 'one of the early models with faults still to be ironed out? http://www.coches.net/mg-zt-46-260-v...5272-covo.aspx Seats are not original he says and this is obvious. I looked at it out of interest, but don't need the hassle. I'm sure he'd accept a lot less than 8000 euros. Only 13000 miles on the clock. So, it's an import with the steering wheel changed over. In the end I got the other most expensive MG on the market here, a ZT CDTi in immaculate condition and 43k kms. Very glad I did so! Anyone in Europe / Scandanavia interested? Strangely, it's located in a really small remote village that I wouldn't normally know, but is very close to where some friends of my wife live. Still not interested though! |

I think this is the other #007, the LHD one, not the one that Mr Bubble has under restoration.
Afaik it was a development car and had been plagued with a lot of electrical problems. No doubt the Two-Sixties would be able to expand further. |

I've been looking at this 260 for a while now and, I'm just sorting things out to bring it to Portugal(taxes over here are hell!!). If the deal goes forward it will be the first 260 registered over here. I plan to keep it as long as I live and to take very good care of him! Love the car! |

There's another 260 at a high price on the market, this one is in France and it's a ZT-T MKII with 400km on the clock and a price of 32.000€!!
Take a look... http://www.lacentrale.fr/auto-occasi...-16833495.html |

Absolutely right Jim but with more mileage than mine (although the RHD 007 didn't have an engine for six years).

I decided not to get into it in case I started to get interested. It was tempting but FAR too much hassle for what I need. Make sure the problems can be fixed!! |

Certainly an interesting car to acquire, but be prepared. Further info available on the Two-Sixties Forum.
