Morning peeps,

The sun is shining here as well

Some gardening to do and then it’s the Austrian Grand Prix and British Touring Cars on tv for the rest of the day

It’s when it’s gone yellow you want to worry

LOL It's time to throw it out when it's lumpy

Much cooler and more manageable than the oppressive heat of yesterday.
I'm hoping to watch the F1 highlights on channel 4 before I fall asleep as It wasn't sleeping weather last night I'm cream crackered.

Cool

Hit and miss with the sun today.

Managed to get a second coat of Ronseal onto the decking. Still needs another coat.

It's been a bit less sunny today - and with a strongish breeze, pleasantly cooler.
We've taken the awning down - secure in the knowledge that it is bone dry and ready to go home on Tuesday. We're now trying to eat the contents of the fridge and freezer - it's daft taking food home with you - the extra weight only causes poorer fuel consumption
So, tonight, we've been on sausage butties, followed by the last of the litre tub of ice cream, and washed down by a bottle of Savanna Dry cider.

Had an enjoyable day out yesterday at Tattershall Castle

- firstly, by wandering around the Castle itself (once the home of Oliver Cromwell). After that, there was a display of falconry, featuring this beauty

The only disappointment was me missing the Battle of Britain Flight flying over - they took off from Coningsby, just up the road, and flew over the top of the Castle unannounced - I was in the middle of changing my camera batteries and missed them all
