Morning all.
We have some of the damp stuff falling, but at least it has cooled off a bit.

Another 'ot one 'ere - although not quite as 'ot as wot it was at the weekend.
Lights and tyres check on the caravan today - by the time I've done that, I'll be needing to relax in the shade

Have you checked the fridge? I recommend putting a bottle or two of beer in there and then you can see if they are cool enough when you have completed the checks on the rest of the van 👍

Phew! It's too hot to be attempting to saw through an alder tree stump in this weather It was infested with alder leaf beetle larva and looked diseased & in terrible condition.
I got a quarter of the way through and said Nah! my back is cream crackered already despite a shedload of painkillers first thing this morning I need a chainsaw really but not worth forking out for one for one stump. I've picked a bowlful of ripe plum tomatoes that I'm going to de-skin to make a tomato sauce for some spagbol for tea.

Four bottles of Henry's (Weston) Finest Vintage Cider already in their mate - purely for testing purposes of course
