Agree entirely Sir Bobby was one of the greatest players of all time in my humble opinion.

As a child in 1958 I was actually there on the night of 4th January to watch Bobby along with the rest of Manchester United's Mighty Busby Babes as they were known then, play Workington Reds in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

This was just a month before the Munich Air Crash 6th February 1958 claimed 23 lives including some of the players that played in the game against workington.

RIP Sir Bobby Charlton.

Did anyone else watch the documentary about Sir Bob on BBC1 last night ( Monday) ?
What a very nice man he was as well as a football superstar,so emotional too.Well worth
watching on catch up or when it's repeated if you missed it.

I highly recommend watching this one.Jack featured quite a few times as well as Munich,1966, and winning the European cup.I'll give it a heads up if I see it repeated.
