If you haven't tried a VR headset like Google cardboard your missing out!
I saw a video for cardboard a few weeks ago and on the strength of it ordered a cheap Chinese plastic headset.
Wow! its unreal, you can strap a cinema,a 3D cinema at that to your head for less than £10. For the full effect you need a phone with a gyroscope so you can then experience 360 video as well. YouTube has a full section for 360 which you can have a look at, and get a rough idea about if you have a gyro. Just go on your YouTube app on your phone and on the side bar at the bottom you'll see 360. I'm upgrading already to a Homido for a more immersive experience. |

here's a reaction vid
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5p5aekH5-8 There is a drawback though,if like me you have to wear reading glasses none of the cheap headsets will work. I had to heavily mod mine by extending it with Tupperware to get a clear picture. This is why I've got a Homido on its way because it does allow for far-sighted and near-sighted people |
