Evening all, In & out in quick sticks at the rugby club vaccination centre, One bonus of being 7 weeks overdue for my second jab was the age group getting their first jabs had come down considerably, the place was full of 30 something young ladies in skimpy attire with this heatwave

Years ago I was helping my mate strip black lacquer off the fork legs on his motorbike using wire wool and cellulose thinners . . . . in his unventilated porch. Woah . . . . pretty colours Both of us rapidly exited into the fresh air.

Morning all, how is everyone?

Cloudy and 22C here in Nairobi. Off out this morning to the Ngong Road south of Nairobi to look for bedroom furniture for our new extension. Ngong Road is lined with furniture making shops and craftsmen selling at the side of the road. We had a bed made 5’4X6’4, the carpenters got it right on the second attempt. Today we are looking for bedside table/cabinets and a single bed.

Catch you later

Hi Phil, basically the liver is performing its main function well enough but seems to be at the cost of some of the other functions I didn't even know it performed. Everything I mentioned to the specialist the reply was "that's normal" or "that can happen". He's going to speak to my GP to get me on omeprazole long term, I get fearsome acid indigestion presumably because of all the meds I'm on. I'd been nicking my wife's omeprazole but been trying to get my own supply, when I try they put me on a one month supply, phone back when its done. Usually a few days after I've finished them the acid returns and I have the hassle of trying to speak to a doc to get more.
Morning Steve, so your liver condition is not worse, which is progress and you have been prescribed Omeprazole long term which is an achievement. Positive thoughts

Morning Phil, Steve and all.

We had plenty of thunder and lightning last night.

Still raining quite hard now and looks like much the same for the next few days.

I think we were rather lucky with our timing up in Norfolk with the weather
