Cool Serpentine belt

How often should the serpentine belt be changed?

Just assumed you meant your 1.8 have a look at the belt and if its getting cracked or very shiny I would change it

It’s under no real strain as it only drives water pump, alternator and air con compressor. You’d be stranded if it broke though so for the few minutes it takes to change it it’s worth doing. Size of belt is 6PK2373

The V8 service schedule is amongst the tech data on the club front page. No mention of a replacement mileage, inspect every 15k miles.
