I have asked Formula One to put an order in for the new sensors, the kit and new bearings. To send anything back which doesn’t get used. I decided not to use my regular mechanic as he has far too much to do at the moment, bless him.
Sensor, backplate, handbrake shoes and new fitting kit required then Phil, you should be able to get the lot for around £80, fitting about an hour for someone who knows what they are doing.

Just surfaced about 15 minutes ago, I have the weekend off from parent caring duties, as my aunt is home from her holiday and can take over for a few days. As mum is getting better slowly, the pressure is off a bit. Must try and get a caravan holiday booked for next week.

The eye is improving Phil, no longer as painful just uncomfortable. As for the top lip, feels "thick" rather than numb.

Good morning Andy, that’s a hit I can happily take. I don’t know anyone round here who can do the work for that price and time. Garage man said, many hours and hundreds of pounds.

He added “Rover 75’s, don’t see many on the road and they are a bogie to work on”.
