Default Kids Company - £46M later........

At last a "proper" investigation into this so called charity.

In particular the BBC has been forced to investigate Alan Yentob - a thoroughly nasty individual by the account of one of my clients who bumped up against him.

It seems that way back in August the BBC were under pressure to investigate what he was up to regarding the BBC's reporting of what was going on at Kids Company.

Now it seems that revelations have forced their hand

Amazing to think that the last three Governments gave a cumulative £46M to this one badly run charity.

Seems like a testament to how being "Politically Correct" is a serious danger to the Nations wealth and wellbeing

I agree entirely. All sucked in by the lady with the wacky jumper and spectacles..
I work bloomin hard day in day out and at the end of each month I give money (tax) to the government. The thing that galls me most regardless of whatever political party is in charge is the sheer waste that goes on. They treat my hard earned tax with impunity. Millions are wasted every single day and no one is ever held to account. Makes FIFA look like a small time crook

The more I look into this (OK! - I'm bored - its raining - and for once my diary is empty ) - the more interesting "stuff" come out.

The Times has an interesting article on the LSE – (London School of Economics), which has a reputation for providing “Research for Hire”. Their relationship with people like Colonel Gadhafi – where Gadhafi paid for “research” to tell people he was not really such a bad person raised quite a few eyebrows !! – Not least when the LSE awarded Gadhafi’s son a PhD!

So it's not surprising to see an article from the Times (education supplement) asking if this once respected learning centre has basically prostituted itself.

Today – by coincidence perhaps This "charity" Kids Company seems to have been an active funder of "research" there:

In interviews, the charity’s chief executive, Camila Batmanghelidjh, cited a 2013 report from researchers at the London School of Economics as evidence that the organisation was well managed. However, neither she nor the report itself pointed out that the study had been funded by a £40,000 grant from Kids Company.

So - £40,000 gets you an LSE report stating you are a well run organisation!!
So....... nothing to see here, move along please.

LOL I must admit there's been nothing but mud that's sticking to anything to do with the BBC of late.
I have very little to do with that old duffers club since the Saville debacle & more recently the appalling biased reporting on the Scottish referendum vote.
I dont pay their Licence fee or have anything to do with their site anylonger.
