Tammyboy and Graham1961, looking at the timings we may end up being able to shave off up to an hour, dependant on how we get on.

That could mean possibly being at Dalwhinnie for 23:30 to midnight instead of 01:00 and therefore reaching Perth at around 01:30/02:00 instead of 03:15.

Speaking with Justmicky last night he is happy to meet anytime from 03:00 onwards so I will send a text message at each leg point (Crianlarich, Fort William) advising of progress so we have a better idea of rendezvous times. Are both of you able to manage earlier times if we run quicker?

Derek
No problem for me , just need a bit of notice as will leave about 2 hrs before meet in Dalwhinnie .

Hi Tam

Grand. I have a Tom Tom unit which estimates journey times so we will see how we are doing when we hit Crianlarich and send you a text with an estimated arrival time for Dalwhinnie. Looking at Tom Tom for pre-planning was what made me think we might shave an hour as Tom Tom is usually pretty accurate. Maximum saving would likely be an house, especially as we are planning some food at Fort William.

See u tomorrow night/Sunday morning.

Graham, how are you placed if we run quicker than scheduled?

Derek

Default Round Britain Rally Stage 7

Hi Derek, Scooterchick, Tammy boy and Just Micky. I have no worries if the timings are earlier/later, just let me know roughly what the times maybe and i will be in Perth in plenty time, (St Johnstone football ground) i have the postcode for it PH1 2SJ Crieff Road so i will be as near to it as possible, also i will wear a Hi-vis yellow vest and have a bluetooth ear piece so do not worry about contacting me when driving, also when i arrive at the footie ground i will let you all know, also my car is Firefrost Red and you can get the reg number from my profile. looking forward to it mind, now i will need to remember to fill a flask and bring a Cd or two and then of we go.....Graham.

Okay everyone, heading off to the rendezvous point now, we appear to be running up to an hour late so hopefully we can make up the time I was hoping to and we can get back on schedule.

Will text each driver as we reach each leg handover point.

Good luck and will see everyone at the handovers.

Good luck to all.

Derek
