Here's another interior one:-

The chrome button on the end of the handbrake on mine will work loose and sound like an angry bee.... Easy solution though, simply twist it until it sits firm again, although it needs this done on almost every journey!

As mine is relatively free of other noises, this squeak above is particularly audible and does drive me nuts - anyone found anyway to deal with this??

Squeaks from the rear when passengers getting in and out often caused by handbrake drums etc needing a clean out.

To test see if the squeaks happen with the handbrake off.

I was thinking of putting a bit of foam or something in between to see if that helps (if it can be hidden enough that is).

Talking NA thread

1. Rear suspension when people getting in or out and yes it was the dirty handbrake and, after a good service and clean out no more squeaks.
2. Minor buzz in dash when on winter tyres near clock area, not too loud.
3. Odd intermittent squawk , not too loud when softly applying the brakes. Seems to disappear as soon as it nears a service center.
This is the NA 'Noises Anonymous' thread I guess. Great idea.
Start out hearing a few minor ticks, graduate to some more audible solid actual sounds and before you know your into the hard stuff, recurring whines, flapping doors, squeaky leather, front end clunks. Down hill from here on. You will be able to hear them without getting into the car. Just sweating in anticipation each drive. Wooooooh
Better stop here and find a beer. hehe
