Default Tazu..

Well today I changed the Master Cylinder which had been playing up for some time (Sinking Pedal)

I swopped it for a new Tazu M/C along with a Flexible pipe instead of the supplied copper one

But I have to say "What an NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- of a job,(Diesel)Who in the name of all things holy thought it a good idea to put it up in the most inaccesable place on a car!!!

However, removing the old one was not to much of a problem nor was fitting the Tazu. However due to the limited amount of fluid that the M/C holds I kept emptying the reservoir so kept getting air into the system which caused me some grief.

I do have an easy bleed system but for the life of me I could not fit the top on to the reservoir due to limited space.

In the end I managed it and at the same time I gave the space between the bulkhead a good clean surprising how many leaves and thing were down there.

Anyway a quick test drive and all is well clutch seems lighter and smoother (Poss Placebo effect) All in all a good days work

Good news & well done !
It's fair to say that they're a little awkward to do & I find it helps to have a pocketful of naughty words.
I use a syringe & a length of clear tubing (windscreen washer tubing is fine) to topup the MC reservoir.
Trying to get an easibleed cap on is a waste of time, there's just not enough room.
