Hi All, my cd changer has got stuck, any ideas on how to get the cartridge out

try giving the multichanger a good knock to see if it will release the cartridge. It's most likely one of the disc carriers is stuck open and refusing to retract.

If it still refuses to eject, you'll need to remove the cd unit from the car. I just had to do this the other day on mine which is located in the glovebox. If yours is in the glovebox too, 4 nuts underneath the glove box holds it the multichanger in place,, remove those nuts and disconnect the multichanger.

Undo the 6 tiny setscrews (3 each side of the unit) which will allow you to remove the changer from the casing - no need to remove the mounts. Once inside, you see a large sprocket. Carefully turn this with your thumb, and it should wind the offending cd back into the cartridge. Test the multichanger before rebuilding it by just plugging it back in, and watch all the cds going through their test sequence.

If all working you can put it all back together and refit to the car
