Default Rear springs Rover 75 Diesel Tourer

Sorry if this has been covered before - I have searched but couldn't find anything for the diesel tourer.

Is there a list of spring lengths as I see there are several colours available for the 75 tourer. I'd like to fit a slightly taller set as I now use the 75 for towing. Don't think it will make it though it's next MOT next year. Will be SO sad to see it go. We have had it for 10 years now and 250,000 miles on the clock. it has NEVER broken down and the only major work was a clutch at 185,000. Best car we have ever had...

is length the answer? what about a stiffer spring of the same length or spring assisters?

Yes - that option too - but I'm not sure what the original length is / was. I'm on my 2nd set of springs and that last ones always looked a little "low" - hence wanting to find out about spring lengths.

i fitted these BMW springs to my diesel tourer, it now rides quite a bit higher.
The arch gap is about the same front and rear, i always thought the rear looks to be riding lower than it should

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-3-SER...item1c84b1ee8b

I also have a set of original towing assist springs fitted so cant really comment on much better they are when the car is fully loaded.

Anyone else fitted these rear springs to MGR tourer? That price is so much better than OEM, and it includes 2 new shocks ! But if something seems to be too good to be true, it often is. And somewhere I seem to remember warnings about 'Continental' parts not being so good
If anyone has any feed back on these, to back up Phil who seems quite happy with them, please do chip in.

I assume that these are a straight swap with no mods required
