Are we not allowed to comment on vehicles for sale? Because that's been going on ages sometimes the comments aren't favourable, there was that weird metallic gold ZT last week with mega mileage and tacky stick on wings and bumper protectors.

As much as the Green ZTT is a very well cared for example the price is well worth discussion in the community as it is exceptionally priced, it is the most expensive ZT/ZTT for sale on Autotrader right now.

Hang on hang on I commented on a cupholder that serves no purpose, I cannot understand why people have a drivers side cupholder in a manual car, maybe in an auto it’s not so much of an issue.

I have also noticed that when Brian comments on a discussion forum people some people seem to overreact, surely he is entitled to his opinion too.

Fair point - I didn't see your post. My post now amended.

In response to your other point, perhaps it is the result of a certain member regularly picking on individuals to ridicule (including their cars) and regularly s***stirring fro some sort of self gratification. This seems to have happened with regular frequency over the years that I've been on the forum.

You are dragging down the tone and reputation of this club.

The level of pettiness being demonstrated by a small group towards a former member and his car is quite unbelievable.
Maninder, I suggest you buy this car, it is obviously worth the money being asked, then you can smile smugly at your contribution to artificially inflating the worth of a fourteen year old car.

Have you considered that the said ex member is an ex member, because he simply didn't want to be an owner any longer, and thus the forum was no longer relevant.

Let us not forget his backhanded dig when he did so, simply because someone, had the audacity to tell him his car wasn't worth what was being asked, when he was expecting everyone to agree that he was completely justified to sell it for more than he paid three years ago in an attempt to account for the expenditure made over the period of ownership.

I would have thought now you are semi retired, you could find better things to do with your time, than stirring the brown stuff with the aplomb you seem to be acquiring of late

By the way, the original shatstorm surrounding this particular vehicle had nothing whatsoever with my decision to step down as a trader, contrary to popular belief

Well, that alone needs to be taken into consideration, about four grand should compensate for that

I really do not care what price the car achieves if and when it sells. The potential buyer(s) will determine that actual price.

What I find disappointing is that a few individuals here have to make judgements publicly on others' asking prices and make attempts to damage the seller's prospects of achieving a good price.

I could understand it if those engaging in such behaviour were driving around in outstanding V8's (I do not, but that is because I am poor and a socialist). As it happens, it appears to me that some of the individuals have difficulty in getting their cars to the minimum standard of driving operation.

I do consider it a shame that Clyde was a well liked and respected (by many) member of the club but was set upon by a few as soon as he advertised his car.

Where is the sense in this sort of behaviour?

Perhaps I am just a little old fashioned and need to spend some time of facebook.
