Being a person that said I wouldn't watch it, I saw this thread and caught the last 20 minutes.

It is more produced than a Matt LeBlanc production in the 'challenges'.

I also thought Matt LeBlanc was the funniest guy, but being an actor he is a natural.

It made me laugh so I guess it should be put in the comedy play list for the BBC

I thought it was ok too, studio sound was poor though Got a few laughs out of it, I shall watch the rest.
It's a shame Hammond and May went with Clarkson, I think they could have stayed. Not missing Clarkson one little bit.

Well I recorded it, and managed about 10 minutes

I won't be watching any more, and won't be watch Clarkson, Hammond and May on Amazon either as I'm not spending another £80 a year to watch them!

I thought the top gear with Hammond Clarkson and may had had its time.

This is very similar so I think it's on borrowed time unfortunately.

I rather liked it. The films were funny, Matt Le Blanc was very amusing and engaging and I was glad the very tired 'Star in a reasonably...' section has been updated.

It's a shame Chris Evans was so shouty and the audience could do with calming down a bit.

Totally agree. He has shone in this first episode, whereas Chris Evans has just come across as a tad annoying.

Well, I was utterly astounded by the new Top Gear . . . . they managed to make the segments even dafter than the old one! Laser guns on cars to see which was the best . . . . is the producer 12 years old?

I gave up after about 30 mins and cancelled the series record in the Sky box.
