Default 18mm rear bush bolt........again

i have owned my car for 5 years and replaced both front arms and bushes twice,not bad i thought
only problem is, on the nearside the front bolt it clonks every couple of weeks and needs tightening up.only this one bolt and never the off side,its becoming a pain now any ideas?

which bolt on the lower arm, ball joint or the other one?
Did you fit a new nut? I think the other bolt has a self locking nut but the one at the hub has "Loctite" on the thread.

worn hub if ball joint bolt?

the bolt on rear bush that slides on the lower
i did think about loctite do you think its the way forward

Yes I do

The bolts are originally of the "patchlok" variety, meaning they have a coating of threadlock applied.

A lot of people use coppaslip on these, and that's not a good idea

Erm, now you have me - there are two bolts which fasten the rear bush to the subby, there is a nut on the lower arm pivot balljoint, and another on the strut lower balljoint (the pinchbolt).
So which "one" are we talking of here?

He's talking about the M14 bolts that secure the bush to the subframe
