That would be consistant with the Mark 1 ZT (having the Rhodium dash), the PBJ code primarily refers to Black Sports Leather seats in an Ash Grey environment, it does seem to be becoming clear through member's responses, that the colour of the dash does not figure specifically in the three letter code, but of course each type has it's own unique sub-code listed in the parts catalogue.

by the way sorry to be an anorak but the picture you have in the MK2 ZT section of PBJ appears to be of a 75 contemporary, hence the black oak dash although no doubt you probably could specify that dash colour on an MG if you wanted, (note the 'rover' kick plates) also you don't seem to have included PBJ as a MK1 option, until I actually bought one I really hadn't realised just how complex the 75/ZT model range was and whilst it is recent history I rather gather it's pretty much like archaeology already.

Alan, if you'd like to supply me with a photo of your Mark 1 interior in PBJ, I'd be glad to include it in the gallery.
Similarly, if you can supply me with a Mark 2 PBJ interior I would use that too, you must realise it's hard to illustrate something you don't have automatic access too. But your feedback on the thread is greatly appreciated, and with members responses, we can ultimately get the full picture, I'm sure.

Hi Reebs, Many thanks for colour and trim code guides. I have a 29/04/05 reg. Connie SE tourer CDTI, firefrost red, with trim code PPJ. I can't find this code anywhere, I could, of course, just have missed it. The car has black leather seats with cream piping and a plastc oak dash. Any suggestions re. trim code?
Many thanks, Kev. |
