Afternoon all.. Bit gutted i couldn't get over to see Freddie off today but had a couple of unavoidable doctors appt's that i couldn't put off any longer

RIP Fred ..

On a plus note managed to get them to do my diabetic review today as well while i was there and have lost a stone in the last 6 months and everything else was good

Now just the stress of waiting for the other test results to come on Tues so fingers crossed.

Just got back home from Freddie's funeral.

I must say it was a lovely service and nice to hear stories from his family members and friends. They painted a wonderful picture of someone who had so much to give all those that knew him.

I still can't believe he is no longer with us.

You will be always remembered Freddie as a true friend.

Much missed but never forgotten.

Very well said Jeff. I cant believe that there will be no more banter first thing in the morning with Freddie. Sad loss indeed.

Evening all, turned into a dark wet drizzly afternoon & evening again, really miserable.

I've taken the last of my power tools out of the garage into the house so they're out of the damp.
The cats have nicked two robin decorations off the Christmas tree and heaven knows where they've stashed them

I'm not bending down looking for them as my back still ain't right.

Beef casserole spuds & savoy cabbage for tea tonight

Yeah mild here too, I was in touch with my mate in Alberta Canada last night and it's been -21C there, I said you're more than welcome to keep that ridiculous weather there thank you very much

Mild here as well but supposed to get a bit wild later on. Whole of Scotland covered by a yellow warning for high winds.

Just seen a forecast, 55mph winds here later, 65 further west!
