Is a grant available for the cavity wall insulation or are those schemes defunct?

Thank you Phil, I had another appointment with Mam at Wrightington hospital (other side of Wigan) on Monday but she's cancelled that too. It was with a government grant that we had cavitiy insulation done in the first place, there's virtually nothing in that back wall

There's no way of checking how much they blow in!

A bit of a lazy day for me, tea is prepared, Cottage Pie and Cauliflower. Just settled down to watch a western on Kodi calledThe Hateful Eight, I shall give mark's out of ten later.

Been a lovely sunny day the winds a bit chilly though.
Cleaned the pond and filter boy how them fish survive the waters freezing
mind you was colder still the other week even with the pump running it still froze over.
Gave the p6 a hoover and polish as well.

Pasta bake for tea tonight, I had two gammon steaks so I cut them up into thin strips & fried them with some Mushrooms, Capsicums, onions, baby sweetcorn and peas with a jar of pasta sauce and Penne pasta from Aldi topped with a shedload of grated cheddar cheese (which I got told off for because they're on diets

) their plates were empty though

Boy do I ache today, I can barely get upstairs to strain the cabbage

I think we need a downstairs lavy.

The new window is not ready until tomorrow afternoon so I think I'll raid wifeys swilly cupboard tonight whilst I can have a lie in tomorrow

Easy day for me. Still having problems with mouth, still somewhat sore. Foot is healing ok though. At least I can put all my weight on it.
