Photo's can be misleading though. They don't show stone chips, swirls, scratches, flaking lacquer...
Having said that, I think it's worthwhile having a good car cleaning routine, it does help preserve the lustre of the car. With my cars, due to my work pattern, they only get washed fortnightly. With a quick wax done monthly. Works out on average about an hour a week, which includes setting the pressure washer up, untangling the hose etc etc! Although twice a year they get clayed & machine polished.

I cleaned,waxed,polished etc mine a while back,then i used some of that Sonax detailer on it,snow foamed the other day,& it all fell off water wouldn't stick to the car
