I've been umming and ahhhhing about a 260 for three or four years now, I got very close to buying the grey Mark one up north, with the drive away video on YouTube, until I saw the donut video on YouTube too
This year the bucket list once again came to the fore and I nearly did it again, but cash flow simply wasn't there. I've since tumbled across and am now loving every minute of driving my sub-£1k 190+ ZT-T, it will more than do for now.
As Wayne said in Wayne's World, one day, oh yes, it will be mine... However despite all my better judgement and having previously owned half a dozen V8 SD1s over the last 30 years, I would really like to get my paws on one of them instead, somehow more resilient than a 260 and equally rare. Would have to be a red Vitesse, with three pedals.
Or I could simply drop one into my MGB while I am restoring it, I've been shown a 3.5 & LT77 that may be coming out of a 3500SE shortly..
I've spent the last ten years driving 16v Alfas and engine character is extremely important to me!

Cool

Well they are coming out of the woodwork. 5 cars available now. 2xSilver, 1 Black, 1 Xpower Grey and 1 Trophy Blue.

I'll be able to make a defiant decision after the weekend. But thanks to everyone for advice and ideas.
