What in your opinion, constitutes assault by Police.?
Hiya. I do have a valid reason for asking this question.... But, I am also aware of different opinions...... Noooo, I really am not looking to get into a difference of opinion here...... Just really, short answers if possible as to your view...??? Thanks Poppy...

I was thrown head first in the back of a police van with my hands cuffed behind my back. I considered that excessive use of force, and I cut my face open on landing in the back.
Instead of taking me to the police station they dropped me off at the hospital instead of charging me, which was not over a big deal to save themselves. I fought the law, and the....... law won. I'm a good boy now. But that police assault in my book.

Same as it is for anyone else, but it's the context that the act is carried out in that makes the difference.

the definition of the law is this.a response is allowed providing it is seen to resonable.this however has come in to question recently when some householder has been disturbed in the middle of the night and beat the living daylights out of the said person.the law is now favoured on the side of the house owner .but it is still down to the definition of resonable force the response depends on the first action.ie he slapped me so i shot him might be a bit difficult!and yes i do not what i on about i a am head of security for a blue chip company for twenty years

If you hear a policeman swearing out side of a volotile situation, (like i and my family did) then that can be a breach of the police, also one could say, it's an assault on the ears |
