Default Chassis 157 S392DEH

New to me but not unknown the club

It’s a bit of a sad tale really....

Once owned by an member/enthusiast in 2010 with very low miles, original and mint.

Now she’s very tired, tatty, leaking, damaged and hasn’t had a service in ages!

My thanks to nick for letting me buy it safe in the knowledge she will be well loved and put back to how she once was.

Chassis 157 S392DEH

Thanks Ronnie

Before I do anything it’s having belts, fluids and a new rad.

I’ve got a set of crowns ready as it’s wearing unions, the rear window regulators are on the way and I’ve started taking the many badges and nasty number plates off already!

I’m hoping POL will be it’s first outing.

Ideally it needs a repaint.

with my job I work weekends (one in two) but get a day off in lieu, as the beloved is at work it gives a day in the empty workshop to get cracking!
I hope to have her usable and presentable by POL!

Progress!

Albeit slowly!

Cambelts (it was still wearing its originals), tensioners, water pump, thermostat, all fluids, plugs, new rad, filters

the oil was like sludge!
