Default Midlands Nano Meet Sat 10 & Sun 11 June 2023

This is a 2 day meet on Sat 10 and Sun 12 June

The meet will be at the new venue of Kings Road Calf Heath Wolverhampton WV10 7DU and directions can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=205&t=676

Please remember that there is a cost of £5 per car which all goes to the venue landlord and covers you either one or both days, you will be given a note for your windscreen once paid so if you come back on Sunday you will not be asked to pay again

You can either visit the dedicated Nano website and put your names down or put on here and either me or Steve (Arctic) will keep the list up to date, looking forward to seeing some of you and your cars at the meet

This is one of our regular cars we get at the meet, owned by John Aston and you wont find many better examples , a CDTi with only 41,000 miles and in immaculate condition

Default Midlands Nano Meet Sat 10th & Sun 11th June 2023

I can only reiterate what Rob has said, it would be nice to see a few of you at our meets, there is a T4 present at most meets which is free, any help or work carried out is free, our time is free, good banter if you just prefer to mingle and have a chat, lots of advise for your cars etc.

The venue is near to Calf Heath Narrowboat Marina and the business that are letting the venue to us is called The Mind and Body Lab, which is a Yoga and Well Being clinic , they have toilets we can use, will sell tea/coffee and food for their own customers which will also be available to us.

I will post up later what i have prepared ready for the meet which can be exchanged out on the day cheers Arctic.

Heard there will be a large thunderstorm on Saturday. Will it affect the meet?

Hi David.
I would say not, we are going to be John Wayne and show some true grit storm may come over in the afternoon about 14.30pm usually we would be winding down slowly by then.

So yes the show must go on who said that now,

Saturday meet went down ok. No rain, just very warm. 16 attended I think, and as I and my friend’s were about to leave, a chap turned up and missed everything. Said he will try and get there tomorrow. Gave him Robs name and Duncan, but not sure if Duncan will be there. Told him to get in touch with Trikey for his moon prize. His automatic diesel has done 255,000 makes.

Hi Dave.
Did he say whom he was? Rob & Duncan are not present today, here's hoping the weather is ok for us again today.
