Here's a photo from today's meeting, I think there are a couple more cars out of shot, in the shaded area beneath the trees where we all gravitated to as the heat became ever more oppressive. Mine is third from left.

Many thanks to Steve (Arctic) for his work both on my car and in organising these meets, it was the first one I'd been able to get along to but I'm sure it won't be the last, hope to make October's event on the Sunday (as I have my motorcycle CBT on Saturday 7th).

Looks good. Hopefully the meet is still on for tomorrow? The temperatures are supposed to be a little lower on Sunday. I shall join you there.

HI Dave.
Yes meet is still on for tomorrow, we ended up with 11 cars in total, so not to bad considering how hot it was, a few gold resistors got fitted, such has Vince's above, nice to help him and work along side him, decent crack and good banter, few SSC also fitted, intercooler hose cut and fitted.

Andy dropped by with a few boxes of goodies for people to pick through, surplus to his requirements now he no longer has a Rover, will a few of you in the morning drive carefully.

Thank you. I'll see you all there tomorrow morning. In view of the above, i'll bring a few R75 things from my ongoing garage clearance in case anyone wants them.

Back from our Shropshire and Midlands break and a pleasure and privilege to meet up with you all despite the 30deg heat!!
Very special thanks to Steve for his fitting and explanation of the ways of stainless steel pins on the handbrake compensator. (Think I may be a record-breaker for the amount of washers found trying to make do).
Best Regards
Ian Inglis
