Default New owner!

Hi everyone,

Bought my first 75 this morning from an ad on eBay, she's a Black 75 Classic SE tourer with 'union' alloys.
So far love the car it is a petrol 1.8 but has had over 2k spent on it in the last 2 years a new head gasket skim and cam belt change about 10k miles ago.
She has a few scratchs and a bumper scuff but overall the bodywork is in fair nick. I will post up some pics tomorrow.
For now I have a few q's!
1, the car doesn't have roof rails - can I obtain these and fit them myself?
2, only one key supplied can I get another?
3, the load cover could do with renewing again can I get a new one?
4, any likely worthwhile little tweaks you experts can recommend to me?.

Thanks I'm happy to be part of forum now having had it a day it's a very enjoyable feeling owning one even if Iam only 31!

wellcome aboard the rear loadspace covers are still available but they are a bit pricey .your best bet is to put up a add in the wanted section or look on the bay same for the roof rails .as for the key this can as far as i no be done buy a ex mg rover dealer or a xpart center as it has to be programmed for your car in the meantime you could just get a key cut which if you lock your keys in the car would enable you to get in in the meantime enjoy
