how rude
it amazes me how rude people are, i was clearing the garage of junk when i came across some bits that were too good to throw away, so i placed them on freegle (similar to freecycle). Most of the emails were polite but a couple were so rude, one for a scooter i had read as follows,
"i want the scooter for my lad, i am in about 5 pm so you can drop it off then. please dont knock, just leave it in the shed round back". i was gobsmacked, naturally i took it straight round, yeah right |

Yeah, Freegle is a bit like that sometimes, I'd be surprised if those kind of people ever get anything from it. That kind of rude email goes straight in the trash!

When i first met Joanna she lived on a small council estate. I moved in and we decided to get a new carpet. On fitting day (lovely summers day) we decided to move the settee outside to make things easier for the carpet fitter. 2 minutes later wen we were doing the same with the armchairs, local kids were half way up the road with the settee ! We laff now,but boy was i errr a little annoyed at the time !

makes me laugh - you try to give something away then folks moan like a cat on heat that there is something wrong with it

reminds me of that episode of Top Gear when they treked accross the USa from Florida to New Orleans, at the end they gave their cars away and one recieving family tried to sue the BBC as one of the cars were older than originally thought, IT WAS FREE, get a grip

Don't try to give stuff away, just leave it in the drive overnight with a "for sale" sign on it, In the morning it will be gone
