Default Panic Buying

Just back from Sainsbury, only a few loaves of bread left on shelves and it was only 11am! Milk likewise, girl/woman on checkout said they got their normal delivery early this morning but people are buying trolley loads! I only needed coffee and a bit of cheese so was OK, I hope.

Same here the Mrs just rang me and said its pathetic! On another note Im the caretaker of a school and left last night and the roads were deadly at 6pm. Rang the head and explained the situation and said a decision will be made early today. I usually walk if the weather is bad but thought NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- it why shall i walk whilst everyone else stays in bed waiting for the school to close. Roll on 7.20 get a call to say school is closed as the streets are dangerous. Head says can i go to school and put a closed sign on the gate. For f...k sake they know the school is closed if they get there and its all locked up plus it been text to everyone and on the twitter page etc. Went back to bed only to get a text to say my new Bluefin tuning gadget is to be delivered at school before 9.30am!

It’s the same with fuel, I always run the car till it’s empty then re fill.

This morning at 10 .00 am my local Asda had no diesel left and at Sainsbury I had to queue for the limited supply they had.

As for food, well we visited our supermarket last week and stocked up as we had a visitor staying with us but we still have sufficient food to last us over the weekend.
Today my niece called in for some bread and there was none left at all, she posted a photo of empty shelves on Facebook.

What is this world coming to !

Just to try and ease the worry folks.

Where I am there is a strong North wind blowing.

The temperature here is 10 degrees and the sun is shining.

Sky, 50% blue with 50% cloud.

I'm in the middle of FRANCE 300 miles south of you in Britain.

This weather is heading in Your direction.---

I went round to Tesco North Berwick at 1.30pm for bread and milk to be told they got a delivery at 11am and sold out in that time, round to Aldi....they had none either, down the street to the Co-op they had sold out a delivery in under 2 hours....
