I assume the cables are ok?

if so - have you tried getting someone to press down on the bonnet at the front whilst the cable pull is operated?

well.. my next step would be to gain access to the splitter box and cables via and above the drivers wheel arch..

try not to damage the cable matey.. -- Good luck..

oh, and "once" unlocked.. it may be worth removing the bonnet locks and cables and spraying them and giving them a good clean to make sure they are "free" before refitting..

and - when refitting the locks they dont need tightening up til they are solid as this squeezes the locks and makes them hard to operate..

If you do a quick google you can find out how to do it but i believe if you pm an Admin or mod they will furnish you with the instructions. It helps to have an arm the size of a childs but it is doable

Hi, Kims bonnet catches would open but not spring back to the closed position. I've just loosened the bolts a bit, after reading this thread, and both are now working perfectly
Thanks all.
