Default Just too much...

After a horrendous year, I thought things were settling, but this Tuesday morning I got the call I have been dreading. My mum passed away just after 11am. I was with her, and now I am truly alone.

So sorry to hear this sad news, and I know just how you are feeling at this moment but remember you’re not entirely alone as you’ve always got friends on here.
Meantime our condolences on your sad loss.

Been there Dawn. I lost both my parents within a matter of weeks. I know how you feel right now but it does get better with time. You have my deepest sympathy. Don't hide away, the friends I made here over the years helped me a lot.

Deepest sympathies & condolences to you Dawn. You've had a rough time of it lately. As others have said, you're never alone here. Many members helped me immensely after my parents passed. At least you were with her in her last moments. Cherish the memories.

That is so true Steve, Dawn I too feel your pain, I am still grieving for my dad, who passed away almost a year ago. Only another 3 and a half weeks until the first anniversary. I took great comfort from all the genuine heartfelt messages I received from the good folk on this forum. Not just the friends I had made, but members I had never met, some not even communicated with. We can be your family, if you want us.

There's only me left now, my dad died in 2005, my aunt and uncle shortly after, and my brother of only 54 this June. I cannot believe the year I have had, with my own ailments, and then Paul and mum. Christmas is going to be...different.

Thank you all for your wishes
