Default cdt or cdti

my 75 is a cdt but whats the diierance between the cdt and cdti and would i be comiting a sin if i put on a ctdi badge

CDT(114 bhp) CDTI(131 bhp)no you would not comite a sin.Just save money on a remap

Hi there, proud owner of a cdt tourer. 116/135. not sure, the pleasre is the same. my mobile armchair goes as fast as want it to, i dont rush any where. The MG marqe still look nice in my book, but not for me.

Actually the "i" stands for injection. It gets misinterpreted-misused on our forums to point out the variations in power outputs.

So stick as many CDTi badges on as you like, your car is injection fed..

I witnessed this car being CDTied (is that a word? t'is now) & was the first to drive it afterwards & it can most definitely wear it's badge with pride

Looking at my old MG-ROVER spec guide CDT(116) CDTI(131)Thats from the factory book.

Ah now that only applies to Mk1s (possibly Mk2 75s aswell I dunno) but Mk2 ZT diesels are all called CDTi in 116 or 131 form

The italic 'i' in theory stands for intercooler..Both units have this and both have fuel injection,so I suppose it was a more up to date badge.

Common rail,direct,turbo,intercooler.
