Hi Jamie, looks a pretty high tech outfit there. Just what sort of info do you need ? Google some of the processes that are shown on the video on the web page might be a good idea. I work for Rolls Royce , have a trawl round thier web pages and see if you can find some info that helps too.

THanks Mark,
They make vanes for RR jet engines amongst other high tech stuff....I am interested in any high risk manufacturing activities for an in depth risk assessment...safety aspects of the work they do. Cheers Jamie Quote:

Hi Jamie, I think you may have a stumbling block here. Some of the hi-tech processes you are trying to research are unique to the aerospace industry (hollow fan blades for example ) an as such are closely guarded secrets sorta thing. All Rolls Royce employees have to sign the official secrets act because of the nature of some of the processes involved. The only stuff you will find on the web are what they are willing to tell you !
Good luck in your quest for information and good luck with the interview ! Regards Mark |

Good Luck from another Aero Engine Manufacturer employee!
I have had direct dealings with Trac Group, including the Group MD, but not that particular company within the Group

Thanks Gents,
message understood...could you tell me if they use techniques involving lasers, plasma cutting and abrasive wheels? Cheers Jamie
