Default HTC Desire

Hi all, having recently upgraded to a desire, I can get the home screen calendar to display time / temp etc, but the town has locked on BarnoldswicK (where i work) . Any ideas how i can get this to change, i hate bein reminded of where i work at weekends ! Tried gps and pathfinder but it still defaults to Barnoldswick. Any advice would be apprieciated !
Regards Mark

I have one of these phones and I assumed that it used the cell location for such things. I have the GPS turned off most of the time and the location is usually quite accurate for the weather.

Try settings>location>tick "use wireless networks"

BTW, do you know that iGo works very well on this phone?

I think it's under settings and then weather, tick download automatically. I've got an HD2 so could be different but mine shows the weather wherever I am at the time...
Also under setting go to location and allow location service settings and HTC location service.

Hope this helps.
