You have no idea how long I have taken a back seat before posting this thread.

You also have no idea what venting anger is,there is no anger or frustration, just amazement as I stated. I have merely pointed out facts and the poor way I feel it both has been and is being adressed.

UPDATE: I have just spoken to Dragrad and he has already been going through this section of our forum tidying it. This is going to be resolved in due course albeit not a 5 minute job.

Thank you all for bringing it to our attention.

If I had a hat I would take it off to the manner in which yourself and other mods are addressing the situation. I had no other way to put it.

Anyone who thinks this thread is a dig at mods are clearly mistaken. It highlighted what I believe was moderation, not the moderators, who perform their role well in the face of all the club changes.

Muey, although my replies to your post are sharp and to the point, no insult intended. If you go to the How To forum you will find several threads clearly asking for technical help e.g. "Am I leaking" thread with about 12 replies where the OP clearly asks for technical help, and not a 'How to', the thread has been there for around 4 months, I have been taking a back seat for longer than that, until it came to a point where the forum became disabled. Time to get up off the back seat do you not agree. I was not voicing an opinion, just pointing out what was clear to be seen.

Job done

The thread has been put into the appropriate forum. We will work our way through the general post section of this forum, and then tackle the child forums. Please, will all members be patient, as we devote our time to clear up the How to Section and bring order to apparent chaos

This is not a simple a job as we have to trace the origins of some posts and contact the originators in instances where the pictures proffered in the original posts are no longer available, or links disabled (for whatever reason), that is, if the members are still current....

So please bear with us........

Like i did say in my post, in no way was it intended to upset, your issues are now being adressed. Mark will take said back seat now. It's not often i get annoyed, but obviously there are things that i may not be aware of. I still love my mobile armchair, and with the help of here i will have it for a good few years more.
Regards Mark

Nearly all the work done in the main forum and threads moved to appropriate "homes"

We are getting there, or I am

Just the child forums to address now, pending responses to other queries...

Default Update............

Some threads on the main How To forum will need to be left , as they are work in progress by the OP's.......

The child forums are now under scrutiny by me. Some were simply threads that should never have been in a How To forum, and have been relegated to their natural forums.

As all threads placed in the How To forums cannot be acted upon they have been either moved back to the originating forums or closed and tidied up from extraneous posts.

I will review these child forums over time and act accordingly. None will be deleted, but some may be moved back into the active forums as is their place to be in.

I hope that members agree with this course of action that I am implementing to tidy up this forum.

WIP....

BTW, some pics that have expired on some posts have also been fixed

If you spot some more expired pics, etc, please let me know, and I will do my utmost to cure

You've done a great job Andrew you really have!

Like has been said before, if someone has an idea or issue they feel needs addressing, let any of us know and we will do our best to see it through or fix it
