Blimey! something that's gone OK without me cursing at the computer!

Trying to get our medication with our local doctors surgery & pharmacy which has been closed & not answering phones has been a nightmare so we've both registered with Pharmacy2U which delivers them free of charge. One more less job of queuing up for meds sorted.

Re-pointing! You finished them planters then?
Nope. .

SWMBO filled the 4 that I made and got fed up of waiting for the 5th (while I was engaged in important work - snapped drivers side front spring ) so has planted something into the soil it was going onto anyway.

Good morning all, sunny and warm 28C.....

my flight to London on 31 May has been cancelled by the airline Kenya Airways. When I rang them up, I had my ticket changed over to an “open” ticket which gives me flexibility to fly back on a date of my choosing once the airport lockdown is lifted.

I was offered to go on the next repatriation mercy flight, but refused it as I am not injured or sick. Great customer service from the airline

No pool cleaning yesterday.

Our next door neighbour hates to hear any noises from us on a Sunday, so no mowing the lawn, no pool pump, no riotous pool or garden parties. We try to get along with her to maintain a good atmosphere. An austere lady who lives on her own, who every day at 4pm walks in her garden wearing white Wellies, and chain smokes. She has a Collie called “Smokey”....

Morning Phil,

She sounds a rather eccentric character

Did you manage a quiet dip in the pool so not to disturb?

Your neighbour cant dictate to you about noise. Pool cleaning and lawn mowing are everday sounds, its unreasonable of her to expect you to be silent. She should try living on our street. Next door have 3 boys under 10 and during lockdown they are in the garden on the trampoline most of the day and the bloke behind has12 ft toxic bonfires both day and night. The fire service have been there umpteen times forcibly extinguishing his fires, and the police are there often as its a s b, but it doesn't stop him. I have seen people with vans unloading waste from building jobs into his garden one its dark, next day he sets it on fire. The hedhe is about 10ft high and sometimes the flames are way higher than the hedge, with thick toxic black smoke emitting.:😠EDIT just to add, we don't mind the noise of the kids playing lol
