Good evening all. I've come in to carry out a Welfare Check on everyone! Hope you are all safe and well and making good use of one of the first Online Bars!

A lot has changed over the years; we can overcome the challenges facing us.

During my absence a lot of developments have taken place. It's been a busy time!

Take care everyone! All the best, Stu

Morning all - 'tis bright and sunny again here - which means I'm back on fence staining duties again

Totally agree Jeff - and just to prove that there can be light amidst the gloom
  1. One of my lifelong friends daughter has just given birth to a bouncing baby girl - Edith
  2. I'm now a great uncle again - James, born massively prematurely on 23rd February, weighing just over 1lb (yes - ONE pound) is now over 6 weeks old and up to nigh on 4lbs

And in other news - current supplies of waterproof stain for garden fences are absolute rubbish - oh for the good old days of a 50/50 mix of creosote and waste engine oil

Hi everyone I have answered the call and here I am

I hope everyone is fine and keeping well in what I call very difficult circumstances, those members who are confined to barracks at least have the forum friends to talk to,pity we could not turn the clock back when everything in the garden was rosy, but thats another chapter gone by.

Keep well everyone I often come in for a look now and then just to make sure everyone are behaving themselves

Talking

Good afternoon! Thank you very much for your kind words. I'm glad to see some old friends and some new faces. A belated welcome to the LCOZ!

I'm relaxing to the music of John Martyn.. Last year, I bought my first Valve Amplifier, an Audio Innovations Series 500. I've made some changes to the Signal Valves and music sounds rather lovely now!

It doesn't seem so extravagant considering the current situation. Like many other people, I'm still working. I've concerns about the lack of PPE and an article might appear in a well known Magazine soon...

Stay safe everyone! I'm about to stick a Leyland Kitchens Rationalised Kedgeree in the Oven for Heat Treatment...
