The farm cat lives wild and it is not domesticated, hence its rough looking coat. Here it is in anticipation next to an active mole hill.

Here is a subject I am not particularly fond of and it is spiders.

This spider has fangs and its leg span can reach 15 cm or 5.9 inches. The venom is neurotoxic and it is used to anaesthetise/immobilise its prey (beetles/lizards) before eating. It is known to inflict serious defensive bites on human.

When I came across it on top of the stone garden table in the pergola, I thought it looked dead.

As soon as I had taken the photo, it ran away under the table out of sight. I left it alone and we both went in different directions.....
