I think I'm in the doghouse! It's our 47th wedding anniversary today & with self isolating for the last two weeks with these cold symptoms I haven't been out or able to buy a card.......I know what she'll say though! you ordered compost online yesterday but didn't order a card

Morning all it’s dry ,mild and bright atm, but grey clouds loom over to the west. I’m actually at work today, got a carpet cleaning job at a commercial property which isn’t in use just now.

Morning folks - it's turned a bit warmer this morning, but we'd also had a couple of showers of light rain. It's surprising how dry the land is judging by how quickly it dried out after the showers.
Divorce impending in my house - came downstairs after a shower and shave to find the missus watching an episode of The Bill - from 2004

Mind you - I watched a black and white John Wayne film from 1947 on Sunday, so maybe I shouldn't be complaining

Managed to get the grass cut yesterday, I have an old Mountfield mower, I bought it second hand from Lloyds years ago and it’s battered and rough round the edges,but it’s reliable. Put some petrol in,primed the carb and first pull on the starting cable it fired into life.
