Default one year ago tomorrow

7th December, my dad passed away, in reflective mood tonight, not sure where to put myself. Hoping tomorrow's weather will not hamper me from work, as I cant handle sitting in the house by myself tomorrow. If I'm at work,I have to concentrate on that.

It's so difficult, because it's been so good! That time you had, so many treasured memories and a lot of those will come to mind.

Anniversaries are always tough days Rich, be strong stay safe and remember the good bits. At least that's what I try to do.

Well I managed to get through the day by focusing on my work, I went to the crem after work to leve some flowers in the public garden of remembrance, but didnt have time to stay and reflect, as it was closing up time.
After I got home was when it hit me full in the face that he had been gone for a whole year, birthdays come and go, and it was his in February and mine in July, they seem like ags ago, but today doesnt. It seems like just a few weeks ago that we carried him into the chapel.
I will now try and enjoy the festive season as best I can, as I know he wouldn't want me not to.
